You may have heard BBC2 have launched a brand new gardening TV series being aired in 2018 following 15 volunteer groups around the UK as they prepare for the Britain in Bloom competition or just get together to improve the place in which they live.
Between May and June last year the TV crew visited Tewkesbury half a dozen times to watch as volunteers got stuck in at Victoria Gardens planting the stunning annual displays, at the Nature Reserve TV presenter Chris Bavin was shown how volunteers care for the community orchard at Priors Park and cut the grass using a scythe and finally children from Jackie Dean's flower club get planting up community planters just off the high street.
Join us on Monday 30 April at the Hop Pole Hotel for a live broadcast at 6.30 pm - everyone is welcome!
