We invited the Brownies to help us in Victoria Gardens. One hour later the park had been swept and flowerbeds watered. The girls were also able to check the sunflowers they had grown,which have recently been re-planted at the park.
A surprise picnic followed with food being provided by a local hotel, The Hop Pole, to reward the girls for their hard work. The evening finished with a badge presentation - each girl had worked towards gaining a gardening badge. Well done young ladies, we hope you can join us again soon.
